Rupafil Limited is a Petrochemical industry producing Polyester chips. This plant has a nameplate capacity of 100 ton/day polyester (Polyethyleneterphthlate) chips. This plant comprises of 4 reactors vapor liquid state polymerization technology operated by Yokogawa DCS system controlling 2 Esterification reactors, 2 Condensation polymerization reactors, Distillation recovery columns and high temperature medium heater units.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, lead and supervise the teams to startup, make market base polyester chips through operations excellence and ensure that field operations are performed safely and optimally within design and enforce HSE requirements for work in the plant.
• Responsible for supervising & leading a shift team in handling of operating DCS and Engineering HIS, smooth and continues floor operations regarding MR, AV1&AV2,IV and other quality parameters in line with standards to minimize waste and executing cost effectively.
• Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
• Contribute to ensure the operability (e.g. control and monitoring systems, alarm management, safe isolation, draining and cleaning) of equipment by participating in HAZOP and model reviews.
• Develop and validate operational and emergency response procedures for the assigned area by managing and budgeting of raw materials used at plant.
• Involved in calibrations of equipments before startup and cross matched with DCS by coordinating with instrumentation department.
• Prepare procedures & checklists of different equipment’s and share with commissioning team for safe startup/ shutdown.
